BATH TIME!

FINALLY! Nixon's umbilical cord came off! I was getting worried that it wasn't going to come off forever! Sponge baths just don't cut it! Nixon had a doctor appointment last Wednesday and he said that the umbilical cord sometimes will stay on for a month! It was really worrying me! Thankfully it did come off and on its own! Anyways, here are some pictures of his first bath! The last picture is of him crying when we took him out! It was so sad, but cute! He really liked it! I was very surprised!

Baby Nixon

Nixon is such a sweetheart! We can't get enough of this little guy! We love him so much and are so grateful for him! We are still adjusting to this huge change, but we are loving every second of it (even if it is 2:00 in the morning). Peter took the cutest picture of Nixon and I taking a nap today! I just love it! He sleeps just like me!

Isn't he beautiful?! Born @ 8:05 weighing in at 7lbs. 12oz., 19" long and a full head/face of hair.

37 Weeks

38 Weeks

I think it's funny...

So today I couldn't stop calling my mom. My mom is just as excited as I am about meeting my little guy! So I don't bother anyone else, I would call her and keep telling her over and over how excited I am to see him! So one of the times that I called her today I thought it would be funny to fake her out and tell her I was in labor....uh yeah...not funny to her. She didn't think it was funny one bit. Me on the other hand couldn't stop laughing and thought I was hilarious! Sorry mom. If it happens again...it will be for real!

Oh! I did the same thing to Peter last week and he about pooped his pants! I told him that he needed to come home and take me to the hospital because I thought I might be in labor. He didn't have a response for a few seconds. It was priceless. I could totally tell he wasn't ready yet. Course, I don't think that he will ever truly be ready until he is actually here. I think that I am ready, but I am just super anxious and a bit scared not knowing what to expect.

MARCH 19

So...yesterday I had my doctor appointment and he told Peter and I that everything is well with the baby, but that my pelvis is too small.  He said that I should get a c section.  So that means once again my due date has changed.  March 19 is now my due date.  At least now it is a week before my last date.  So that is good.  I am really excited to meet my little guy! I just keep thinking about what he is going to look like.  So that is the update! 

32 DAYS AND COUNTING!

Can I tell you how nice it has been not working?!  I have absolutely loved it!  I know that when this little guy comes that I will no longer have this kind of  freedom, but I am glad that I have been able to relax...I mean really relax....for the past 2 months.  It has been so nice to be able to sleep until 10, keep caught up on laundry, keep the house clean, take a nap everyday, have delicious meals hot and ready when my hubby comes home, grocery shopping during the day, just to name a few.  I can't tell you how nice it is to go grocery shopping during the day!  I haven't had to stand in a line yet!  I just love it! 

Also, I can't believe that I only have 32 days left of being pregnant!  I feel like it has gone by so slow, but fast at the same time.  I just can't wait to see what he looks like!  I hope he looks more like Peter!  Peter was the cutest baby ever!  I looked like a little chinese boy! I keep hoping that he will come early, but I doubt that will happen.  With my luck I will go over my due date!  I was originally due March 10 then to March 16 and now March 24.  Thankfully it hasn't changed for the past 3 appointments so that is good!  Well, I don't really know what else to write so have a happy day!
